I read about Penny & Ruphy. I figured.. what do I have to lose?
Honestly, I was NOT expecting to hear anything i hadn't already heard/been exposed to. I was expecting to just use it as a brain refresher.
I was wrong.
Not only did they cover everything the other reviewers did, but they also taught me new things.
The BIGGEST impact for me was that, many of the concepts I was still confused about, they provided so much clarity about. They gave SO many ways to remember things that really did work for me. Things that truly struggled sticking with me I left their review fully understanding, Antibiotics (omg, their way of teaching it is AMAZING), Ortho, pulmonary, hepatitis, EYES! emergencies/sprains, and all of those topics were still unclear to me. By unclear I mean, I needed to understand it in a way that I could apply it. But the way they taught it just really made it click! Memorizing facts will NOT get you there! Penny and Ruphy guided me on so many concepts that were on my exam. There were so many questions I wanted to "bite" and pick the carrot but their voices would tell me not to and what to pick!
They gave me the power and knowledge to know that I knew it. Which really gave me SO MUCH CONFIDENCE to test. I knew that I knew the content, not just memorized a "tip". They were better than all of the reviews I took combined. And I say that with absolutely no motivation other than to help students out. I swear.

truly care about you and want you to be successful, but most importantly they want you to UNDERSTAND. 
In conclusion to my essay, (lol) I can say, HONESTLY, out of all of the money I spent (over $1000) on reviews and materials, they both helped me the most by a landslide. I was blown away by how much they helped.

I passed my adult gero AANP board exam today and I’m still so excited. It feels like an out-of-body experience. I just want to give a big shout-out to Penny and Ruphy. Their review was awesome and in-depth. I especially want to thank Ruphy because she called me last night when she realized I had questions (she didn’t even know I was taking my exam today. I told no one, that was how nervous I was), but she took her time to personally call me and gave me extra 1:1 tutorials and confidence boost for free. God bless you Ruphy tremendously.
I can’t sleep. I’m still so excited. The more I think about passing my adult gero AANP the more I feel like I can’t give enough acknowledgment to Ruphy Anne Lim. That woman is a lifesaver and the UTMOST BEST!!! I keep thinking about my exam and I keep remembering her and all she taught me and the buzz words she made me remember and how simple she made me understand the disease processes that seemed like ages to sink in. If you’re taking adult gero especially AANP, please look no further. That exam was harder than people make it seem. This exam makes you nervous. I was super nervous. But this woman was ever willing to respond to my million questions with so much info and her voice just sticks in your head. Once again Ruphy you are a lifesaver and this is your calling. I passed thanks to Ruphy and Penny on the spot reviews! I greatly appreciate Ruphy for taking the time to do a last-minute 1:1 review with me. Most of the questions she asked me were on the exam so I'm so glad I made the decision at the last minute ( the day before the exam) to have a 1:1 review. Finally my turn!!! I had so many obstacles ever since I graduated. I sped up instead of sitting out in order for me to graduate a semester earlier since my mom’s health started declining beginning of last year. When I was about to take my board several months ago, she ended up having a MI, and since then her health has been rapidly declined. It was so hard to pick it back up but I did it today! I can’t be where I’m now without the help of Ruphy Anne Lim! I did her and Penny’s system review couple of weeks ago, 1-1 with Ruphy and crash course last night. I literally heard Ruphy’s voice while I was taking the test & when I was stuck, I closed my eyes and saw Ruphy talking to me during 1-1. Ruphy’s strategy helps a lot for me to crack this beast! She also went above and beyond to check on me to see my progress! Words truly can’t explain how thankful I am!

So I just passed my ANCC today!! I graduated last year and was unable to test right away due to life-threatening pregnancy complications followed by a divorce. I just wasn’t there mentally... I finally got my life under control and took the test. I did the systems review and ANCC review with Penny Dyals and Ruphy Anne Lim. They were spot on. The new exam had barely any non-clinical (maybe 15 questions). I skimmed through Leik (maybe 4 weeks of light study). That was all. The test was straightforward and almost to the point of causing me to second guess myself because it seemed too easy... but I didn’t! I did go back and look at each question again (since I finished it in 90 minutes and had time). I did find two questions where I didn’t choose all that applied!

Gloria, MSN, FNP-BC...It is official. Many long sleepless nights and long hours of studying have come to a halt. I took Ruphy and Penny's crash class. To be honest with you guys, Ruphy and her team are God's sent. Her Review was right on point. The 1:1 that I did with Ruphy was the icing on the cake. I saw some questions almost word for word, let me not exaggerate, it was tremendously helpful. After Ruphy 1:1 if she tells you that you are not ready, please go and study more. After my review, she told me to go take the test the next day. I only flagged few questions and did not change my answers. The exam was straightforward. Please know your material. That really really helped me. I wish everyone studying the best. You can do it.

I have had several people ask me what I did differently this time to pass the ANCC. I would first recommend you pray and a deep breath! I narrowed down my studying to only reading Leik and I used the ANCC study guide in the files. I also reviewed the pictures in the files. I reviewed with Penny Dyals and Ruphy Anne Lim in the group reviews and I did a 1:1 review with both of them!! They are amazing and worth paying to tutor you. If you get a tutor or attend a tutoring session I recommend you verify that the person tutoring is actually certified with the test you are taking. I found that there are tutors out there that are tutoring and they never took the ANCC but they are charging to tutor for this test. Best of luck to all of you! I will say extra prayers for everyone to get a pass on these tests!! If I can do it all of you can do it!!Thank you Penny Dyals! I could not have done it without you and Ruphy Anne Lim !!

If anyone out there is questioning or on the fence about doing Ruphy & Penny’s review - I cannot recommend them highly enough!! I was in both the crash course and systems review at the beginning of September and I want to share that I passed AANP today.
This is the message I sent to both of them: I strongly believe that I could not have done it without your review!! There are so many out there but your reviews made me THINK about the how and why instead of memorizing things...it totally changed my perspective and I walked into that exam with confidence! I appreciate you ladies putting these reviews together and offering them to folks like me (I was WWAAYY behind - graduated just over a year ago and I found myself just jumping one hurdle after another all while I felt like I was losing info). Yes, I did it !! I passed the AANP AGNP exam today. Thanks to Ruphy Anne Lim & Penny Dyals. My exam was very straightforward, with no tricks. The 2 days systems review with Ruphy/Penny is definitely worth it, I highly recommend it, straight to the point. They are awesome. I sent a question to Ruphy a day before my exam for clarification, she called me right away and started quizzing me. When I hit that submit button, I had no doubt. You got this guys. It was not as bad as I thought. Make sure you read the questions very well and know exactly what they are asking. Biggest thanks to almighty God for his strength. You got this guys! I passed ANCC on Friday! My first attempt. I used the Leik book for my study material. I also took
and
ANCC review. I’d suggest taking one of their reviews before you even start studying then take it again after you have studied the content they review. This worked for me because I basically wasted 2-3 weeks trying to figure out what and how to study. So I took their review listened and took notes on the topics they covered then reviewed each topic in my Leik book. Then took their review a second time which made me very confident in my knowledge. I also took a 1:1 tutor session 2 days before I tested with Penny which was amazing, I did this only because I felt uneasy about my knowledge and how well I could apply it. Honestly don’t waste your money on predictor exams or expensive review courses.
TIPS:
1: the main way I reviewed non-clinical content was from the group ANCC review with Ruphy and Penny and also the small bit that was in Leik.
2: review the pictures posted by Penny
3: know all non-clinical content discussed by Ruphy and Penny as well as how to apply it to a patient scenario
4: after reading each question on the ANCC exam I actually felt confident in the majority of my answers ( it wasn’t like when I took my RN boards 10 Year’s ago... which on the RN boards I remember not having a clue of what they were asking and felt so unsure and had to wait days for my results thinking I failed but somehow passed) so if you know your content you will be set for ANCC!!

Hi everyone! I passed the ANCC FNP exam today! Shout out to Ruphy and Penny for your amazing review!! I couldn’t have done it without you! I HIGHLY recommend their review! I studied for 9 days straight: Read the entire Leik book in 3.5 days (and did the questions), did the Ruphy and Penny review, and did 400-500 board vitals questions, and APEA predictor test. Overall the review by Ruphy and Penny plus the Leik book were the most helpful for the exam!
